Privacy Policy

1. 개발자가 운영하는 계정·측정 서버

사용자가 입력한 측정 URL은 측정을 위해 해당 대상 서버 및 그 서버가 지시하는 검증된 리다이렉트 대상으로 전송됩니다. 측정 URL, 표본, 결과 또는 로컬 보고서가 개발자에게 자동 전송되는 경로는 현재 production source에서 확인되지 않았습니다.

2. 분석·광고·오류 보고

Basic 및 Pro production source에는 개발자에게 데이터를 보내는 제품 분석, 광고 추적, 원격 telemetry 또는 자동 crash reporting이 구현되어 있지 않습니다. 앱 내부에서 “진단”이라 부르는 값은 측정 상태를 설명하기 위한 로컬 정보이며 자동 업로드되지 않습니다.

3. 측정 과정에서의 통신

측정을 시작하면 사용자가 지정한 공개 HTTP/HTTPS 서버로 HEAD 요청을 보내며, 필요한 경우 범위가 제한된 GET 요청을 사용합니다. 대상 서버, CDN 또는 프록시는 통상적인 네트워크 요청 정보(예: IP 주소, User-Agent, 요청 시각)를 처리할 수 있으며 각 운영자의 방침이 적용됩니다. DongClock은 로컬·사설·예약 주소를 차단하고 리다이렉트 목적지를 다시 검증하지만, 외부 대상 서버의 개인정보 처리를 통제하지 않습니다.

4. Gumroad 구매 정보와 Pro 라이선스 검증

Gumroad 판매자 화면과 공개 도움말에 따라 DongClock 판매자는 구매·지원·환불 처리를 위해 구매자의 이메일 주소, 구매자가 제공한 경우 이름, 구매한 상품과 구매일 등 주문 기록, 라이선스 관리 정보 및 환불 상태를 확인할 수 있고, 기간별 판매 CSV를 내려받을 수 있습니다. 확인되지 않은 결제수단 상세정보를 DongClock 판매자가 볼 수 있다고 전제하지 않습니다.

이 seller-side 정보는 구매 확인, 라이선스 및 구매 지원, 환불·분쟁 처리, 고객 문의 대응과 적용되는 법적 의무 대응에만 사용하며 제3자 광고나 구매자 프로파일링에 사용하지 않습니다.

Pro는 최초 활성화 및 주기적 재확인을 위해 고정된 Gumroad 라이선스 검증 API로 공개 Product ID, 사용자가 입력한 Gumroad License Key, 사용 횟수를 늘리지 않도록 하는 increment_uses_count=false를 전송합니다. Gumroad 응답에서 상품 일치 여부, 원 구매 시각, 환불·분쟁·차지백 상태 등을 확인해 라이선스 상태와 만료일을 계산합니다. 요청은 Gumroad로 직접 전송되며 라이선스 키를 개발자 소유 서버로 전송하는 별도 경로는 현재 없습니다.

Gumroad는 구매·결제 플랫폼이자 별도의 개인정보 처리 주체이며, 구매 과정과 Gumroad 계정에서의 처리는 Gumroad Privacy Policy가 적용됩니다. DongClock은 Gumroad가 자체 법적 의무에 따라 보유하는 결제·세무 기록을 임의로 삭제할 수 있다고 약속하지 않습니다.

5. 기기 내 저장

• 설정 및 최근 URL: 앱 WebView의 로컬 저장소에 언어, 표시·알림 설정과 최근 입력 URL이 저장될 수 있습니다.
• 측정 보고서: 실행 파일이 있는 폴더의 reports 하위 폴더에 JSON 파일로 저장됩니다. 보고서에는 대상 URL, 최종 URL·IP, HTTP 상태와 헤더 관련 값, 표본·왕복 시간·추정 결과 및 진단 상태가 포함될 수 있습니다.
• Pro 라이선스 캐시: 앱의 Windows 로컬 앱 데이터 폴더에 license.dat로 저장됩니다. License Key, Product ID, 구매·만료·최근 검증 시각 등의 라이선스 캐시 전체를 현재 Windows 사용자 범위의 Windows DPAPI로 보호합니다.

측정 보고서와 WebView 로컬 설정은 DPAPI 라이선스 캐시의 보호 대상이 아닙니다. 사용자는 이 로컬 파일을 직접 삭제하거나 관리할 수 있습니다.

6. 지원 이메일 정보

dongclock2026@gmail.com으로 문의하면 발신자 이메일 주소, 문의 내용과 사용자가 자발적으로 첨부한 스크린샷, 측정 보고서, 로그 또는 진단 파일을 처리합니다. 보고서나 화면에는 사용자가 입력한 URL과 query, 최종 URL·IP 또는 네트워크 정보가 포함될 수 있습니다.

지원 정보는 문의 확인, 답변, 문제 재현과 해결, 구매·라이선스 지원, 필요한 경우 환불·분쟁 및 법적 의무 대응에 사용합니다.

7. 보존기간

• 일반 지원 문의 — 운영정책: 문의 해결 후 최대 12개월 보관한 뒤 삭제합니다.
• 구매·환불·분쟁 관련 문의 및 DongClock이 별도로 보관한 작업 기록 — 운영정책: 사안 해결 후 최대 3년 보관할 수 있습니다.
• 법적 의무 또는 진행 중인 분쟁: 적용 법률상 더 긴 보존이 필요한 경우 그 필요한 범위와 기간 동안 보관할 수 있습니다.
• Gumroad 보유 정보: Gumroad는 merchant of record 및 자체 법적 의무에 따라 일부 거래 기록을 별도 기간 동안 보유할 수 있습니다. 이는 DongClock의 이메일·작업 파일 보존기간과 구분됩니다.

12개월과 3년은 DongClock의 현재 운영정책이며 법정 최소기간이라는 의미가 아닙니다. 국가별로 적용될 정확한 법정 보존기간은 법률 검토 권장 사항입니다.

8. 열람·정정·삭제 및 개인정보 요청

구매 또는 지원 데이터의 열람·정정·삭제나 기타 처리 관련 문의는 dongclock2026@gmail.com으로 요청할 수 있습니다. 요청 확인에 필요한 최소한의 구매 이메일 또는 주문 식별정보를 요청할 수 있으나 비밀번호, OTP, recovery code 또는 결제 credential을 요청하지 않습니다.

신원과 대상 기록을 확인한 뒤 법적 보존 의무나 진행 중인 분쟁이 없는 정보는 통상 30일 이내에 삭제 또는 필요한 조치를 하고 결과를 안내합니다. 즉시 삭제할 수 없는 경우 그 사유와 적용되는 보존 범위를 안내합니다.

Gumroad가 자체 시스템에서 보유하는 정보는 DongClock이 직접 완전히 삭제할 수 없을 수 있으며, Gumroad의 개인정보 요청 절차가 별도로 적용될 수 있습니다.

9. 변경 및 문의

제품의 데이터 흐름 또는 운영정책이 달라지면 이 방침도 갱신합니다.

1. Developer-operated accounts and servers

A URL entered by the user is sent to the target being measured and to validated redirect destinations selected by that target. The current production source contains no path that automatically sends measurement URLs, samples, results, or local reports to the developer.

2. Analytics, advertising, and crash reporting

The Basic and Pro production source contains no developer-directed product analytics, advertising tracking, remote telemetry, or automatic crash-reporting integration. Values described in the app as diagnostics are local measurement-state information and are not automatically uploaded.

3. Measurement traffic

When measurement starts, DongClock sends HEAD requests—and, when needed, a range-limited GET request—to the public HTTP/HTTPS server selected by the user. The target server, CDN, or proxy may process ordinary request information such as IP address, User-Agent, and request time under its own policy. DongClock blocks local, private, and reserved destinations and revalidates redirects, but it does not control an external server’s privacy practices.

4. Gumroad purchase information and Pro verification

According to Gumroad’s seller interface and public help materials, the DongClock seller can access a buyer’s email address, name if supplied, order records such as the product and purchase date, license-management information, and refund status for purchase, support, and refund handling, and can export sales for a selected period as CSV. DongClock does not assume seller access to unconfirmed payment-method details.

This seller-side information is used only for purchase verification, license and purchase support, refund/dispute handling, customer support, and compliance with applicable legal obligations. It is not used for third-party advertising or buyer profiling.

For initial activation and periodic revalidation, Pro sends the public Product ID, the user-entered Gumroad License Key, and increment_uses_count=false directly to Gumroad’s fixed license verification API. DongClock reads product identity, original purchase time, and refund/dispute/chargeback status from the response to calculate license state and expiry. The current source has no separate route that sends the key to a developer-owned server.

Gumroad is the purchase and payment platform and a separate handler of personal information. Its processing during checkout and in Gumroad accounts is governed by the Gumroad Privacy Policy. DongClock does not promise that it can delete payment or tax records that Gumroad retains for its own legal obligations.

5. Data stored on the device

• Settings and recent URLs: language, display/alarm preferences, and recent entered URLs may be stored in the WebView’s local storage.
• Measurement reports: JSON files are written to a reports folder beside the executable. They may contain target and final URLs, final IP, HTTP status and header-related values, samples, round-trip timing, estimates, and diagnostic state.
• Pro license cache: license.dat is stored in the app’s Windows local application-data directory. The complete cache—including License Key, Product ID, purchase/expiry/verification timestamps—is protected with Windows DPAPI in current-user scope.

Measurement reports and WebView settings are not covered by the DPAPI protection used for the license cache. Users can manage or delete these local files.

6. Support email information

If you contact dongclock2026@gmail.com, DongClock processes the sender email address, inquiry content, and any screenshots, measurement reports, logs, or diagnostic files you voluntarily attach. A report or screenshot may contain a URL and query entered by the user, a final URL or IP address, or network information.

Support information is used to review and answer the inquiry, reproduce and resolve problems, provide purchase or license support, and, where necessary, handle refunds/disputes and legal obligations.

7. Retention

• General support inquiries — owner policy: retained for up to 12 months after the inquiry is resolved, then deleted.
• Purchase, refund, or dispute inquiries and working records separately retained by DongClock — owner policy: may be retained for up to three years after the matter is resolved.
• Legal obligations or ongoing disputes: information may be retained for the longer period required by applicable law, limited to what is necessary.
• Information retained by Gumroad: as merchant of record and for its own legal obligations, Gumroad may retain certain transaction records for a separate period. This is distinct from DongClock’s email and working-file retention.

The 12-month and three-year periods are DongClock’s current owner policy, not statements of a statutory minimum. Legal review is recommended to establish any exact statutory retention period applicable in a particular jurisdiction.

8. Access, correction, deletion, and privacy requests

Requests regarding access, correction, deletion, or other privacy matters involving purchase or support data may be sent to dongclock2026@gmail.com. DongClock may request the minimum purchase email or order identifier needed to verify and locate the record, but will not request a password, OTP, recovery code, or payment credential.

After identity and the relevant record are verified, information not subject to a legal hold or ongoing dispute will normally be deleted or otherwise addressed within 30 days, and the result will be communicated. If immediate deletion is unavailable, DongClock will explain the reason and the applicable retention scope.

DongClock may be unable to delete information completely from Gumroad’s own systems. The separate Gumroad privacy-request process may apply.

9. Changes and contact

This policy will be updated if the product’s data flows or operating policy changes.
